About Dr. John

Ruby Samuel John, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She offers comprehensive care along with a warm bedside manner to patients at Texas Primary Care Specialists in Frisco, Texas.

Dr. John received her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, earning the Most Humanistic award in 2009. Afterward, she was elected Chief Resident and remained an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University Hospital until 2011.

For the past ten years, Dr. John has prioritized providing quality primary care to uninsured patients. She was recognized at the Lone Star Cares Fundraising Gala with the Care and Compassion Award in 2014. Dr. John takes the time to listen to her patients, which she feels is the key to building trust. Her goal is to diagnose the root cause, not just treat the symptoms.

Dr. John stresses the importance of choosing a healthy lifestyle as the primary prevention of acute and chronic illnesses. In her free time, Dr. John enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three active boys, running, and serving at her local church in Frisco.
